Three-faced Doll

Modern doll from mould by Byron. This is a three-faced doll - you turn the head and she smiles or cries as well as the smiley face on display. This was the first doll I ever made and turned out to be not a bad choice; the painting is not difficult and I was able to achieve an encouraging result
Baby doll with polyester poplin dress and broderie anglais trim and underwear. Knitted bottees in random coloured crochet cotton.
There are antique dolls with two or three faces like this one. However it has to be said that in many cases they are not very pretty dolls. A well-known interesting example is a doll with a wolf on one side and a little girl on the other (presumably Red Riding Hood).
